Mature Plant Size & Root System: This Aloe grows long compact stems, forming a cluster of stacked stems with age. It has a shallow, wide fibrous root system.

Edible & Side Effects if Ingested: Non-toxic if consumed, though this aloe is typically used for ornamental, not edible, purposes. This aloe has tiny "tiger teeth" that are soft and will not harm your animal. If, by chance, ingested, succulents like aloe can help re-hydrate your pet as well as provide enrichment for your animals by allowing them to instinctively forage for food.
