Best for These Animals: Small and moderately sized desert and arid-dwelling animals. Excellent for bearded dragons and other omnivorous lizards, who can eat it!

Soil Depth: Shallow to moderate with proper drainage.
Lighting: High.
Humidity & Misting: 0%-40%; none required.
Mature Plant Size & Root System: This is the one-and-only medicinal aloe! This aloe produces pups which will form a tight clump and can get over 3' tall but can be easily maintained to a desired height. It has a shallow, wide fibrous root system.
Temperature Tolerance & Placement in the Terrarium: High temperature/drought tolerant. Best used as a front (low) placement or in a corner.
Edible & Side Effects if Ingested: Non-toxic if consumed by reptiles. However, although this aloe is used for medicinal purposes in humans, it should not be ingested by humans in large quantities.
Pot Size & Packaging: A single 4" pot aloe plant is shipped in the pot, wrapped in paper.
